If you are seeking a laid-back but educational class that uses a lot of bold colors, patterns, and a variety of illustrative and painting techniques, "School of Fish" is just the workshop for you!
Can't draw? Not to worry! Students will have access to a downloadable worksheet with multiple samples of sea creatures to practice with or enlarge and trace onto their surface.
What type of paints will we be using?
Any type of watercolor paint will work, from student grade to the professional artist grade.
For the acrylic portion of our class, we will be using both fluid and soft-body acrylics. Most demonstrations will be using Golden Fluid paint but you can use whatever you have on hand.

I'm a beginner to both watercolor and acrylics. Should I take this class?
Yes! This class is geared toward the beginner artist who wants to explore both genres in a fun and low-pressure manner. Artists of all levels are welcome in this course!

What supplies will I need?
We will be working in watercolor and acrylic, along with using paper, wood and canvas for our surfaces. Other drawing tools such as pens, pencils, erasers, etc. will be needed. Optional items such as paint pens, collage, and other mixed media tools will be used but aren't necessary. A full supply list will be given upon registration.
